Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain management? Cargill is looking for a Buyer, Plant Material and Services to join our dynamic team in Pandaan, Jawa Timur. In this key role, you will follow established procedures to select suppliers for the procurement of non-contracted materials, goods, services, and supplies essential to our operations.
You will independently solve problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials. Tanggung Jawab
- Select and evaluate suppliers for non-contracted materials, goods, and services based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Independently resolve supply chain issues and negotiate terms with vendors to ensure operational continuity.
- Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.
- Monitor inventory levels to anticipate material needs and prevent stockouts.
- Collaborate with plant management to identify material requirements and sourcing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing procedures and supply chain best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
