As a Supervising Agriculturist, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of agricultural projects. This includes conducting research, training agricultural technicians, and coordinating closely with local farmers' associations to implement modern farming techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of agronomy, pest management, and government regulations, driving initiatives that boost local crop production and economic stability.

- Supervise and manage agricultural extension services and field operations to ensure program efficiency.
- Conduct research and development studies on local crops, soil health, and sustainable farming practices.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of agricultural technicians and staff.
- Coordinate with local farmers' associations and stakeholders to implement community-based agriculture programs.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, project proposals, and budgetary requirements for government funding.
- Monitor crop production levels, implement pest control measures, and ensure compliance with agricultural safety standards.
- Advise municipal officials on agricultural policies and strategies for regional development.
Kualifikasi
- Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Civil Service Commission (CSC) Eligibility (appropriate rating) is required.
- At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in agricultural extension or project management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of modern farming technologies, crop rotation, and soil conservation.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to various project sites.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and the local dialect.
