- Design and implement scalable backend architectures for recommendation engines
- Optimize system performance, latency, and throughput for high-traffic applications
- Develop machine learning pipelines for real-time recommendation personalization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into production systems
- Conduct A/B testing and data analysis to drive architectural improvements
- Document system designs and contribute to engineering best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical reviews
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related technical field
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and distributed systems
- Experience with backend technologies (Python, Java, Go) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Knowledge of recommendation systems or large-scale data processing frameworks
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Research background in machine learning or information retrieval
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous requirements
