Join Equinix's global infrastructure team as a Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer, where you'll become the guardian of our world-class data center environments. This pivotal role demands expertise in operating, managing, and maintaining critical HVAC systems that power digital transformation across Asia-Pacific. You'll troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems, implement preventative maintenance protocols, and ensure 99.999% uptime for hyperscale infrastructure. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and maintain critical HVAC systems including CRAC/CRAH units, cooling towers, and chilled water plants
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical/mechanical infrastructure
- Monitor environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, pressure) via BMS systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during infrastructure upgrades and capacity expansions
- Implement energy optimization strategies to reduce PUE metrics
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, and local safety regulations
- Document maintenance activities and prepare technical reports for continuous improvement
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data center critical facilities operations
- Industry certifications (ASHRAE, BICSI, or equivalent) preferred
- Proficiency in building management systems (BMS) and SCADA operations
- Strong understanding of electrical power distribution (UPS, PDUs, ATS)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex mechanical and electrical systems
- Singapore Work Permit or Singapore citizenship required
