Join the Municipal Government of Daanbantayan, Cebu as a Disability Affairs Officer I. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a dedicated advocate for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), ensuring they have access to essential social services, government benefits, and inclusive community programs. You will play a crucial role in the implementation of national and local disability laws, acting as the primary liaison between the government and the PWD community. Your work will involve coordinating with various municipal departments to address accessibility needs, processing PWD accreditation, and conducting awareness campaigns to foster an inclusive society. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the implementation of the Magna Carta for Disabled Persons and related local ordinances.
- Coordinate with national and local government agencies to ensure the delivery of social welfare services to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
- Manage the registration, verification, and accreditation process for PWD identification cards.
- Conduct regular community outreach programs to promote the rights and welfare of PWDs.
- Monitor and evaluate the accessibility of public infrastructure and buildings in accordance with standards.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports on the status of disability affairs programs and activities.
- Liaise with local NGOs and civil society organizations working in the field of disability rights.
Kualifikasi
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology, or any related field.
- Must be a member of the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
- Must hold a valid Professional or Subprofessional Civil Service Eligibility (Career or Service).
- Must have at least one (1) year of relevant work experience in social welfare, community development, or government administration.
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer operations.
- Must possess a strong sense of empathy and a deep commitment to serving the PWD community.
