Join Search Personnel as a Freight Operations Supervisor and lead the backbone of our logistics operations in Tuas. This pivotal role demands strategic oversight of international shipments, meticulous documentation management, and team leadership to ensure seamless import/export processes. You'll optimize supply chain workflows, resolve operational bottlenecks, and maintain compliance with customs regulations while driving efficiency across multi-modal transportation networks. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee end-to-end freight operations including shipment planning, tracking, and customs clearance
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics specialists, setting performance targets and providing coaching
- Ensure strict compliance with import/export regulations and documentation standards
- Optimize transportation routes and carrier relationships to minimize costs and transit times
- Implement process improvements using KPIs like on-time delivery rates and cost per shipment
- Manage inventory coordination between warehouses, ports, and distribution centers
- Resolve operational disruptions and escalate critical issues to stakeholders
- Prepare monthly performance reports and budget variance analyses
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in freight operations with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Deep knowledge of Singapore customs regulations and international trade compliance
- Proven track record in managing import/export documentation (B/Ls, COOs, commercial invoices)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to develop high-performing teams
- Proficiency in logistics management software (SAP, TMS, or equivalent)
- Excellent analytical skills for process optimization and cost reduction
- Valid Singaporean work permit or citizenship required
