- Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing timely orders to prevent shortages
- Ensure all products meet visual and taste specifications through meticulous plating and finishing techniques
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene protocols in all baking operations
- Collaborate with culinary team to design innovative dessert menus and seasonal offerings
- Train junior staff on baking techniques, equipment operation, and quality control procedures
- Optimize production processes to minimize waste while maintaining consistent product quality
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within food service establishments
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and pastry equipment
- Culinary arts certification or formal pastry training preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Creativity in developing new recipes and decorating techniques
- Good physical stamina for extended standing and lifting moderate weights
