MUFG Investor Services is a premier provider of financial services dedicated to the global alternative investment industry. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate, Fund Finance to join our team in George Town, Penang. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the financial relationships with private equity and hedge fund clients, ensuring the delivery of robust credit solutions and operational excellence.
As a Senior Associate, you will serve as a critical bridge between our portfolio funds and internal credit, treasury, and legal teams. You will be responsible for navigating the complexities of credit structuring, performing in-depth financial analysis, and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the lifecycle of the credit facility. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and cultivate relationships with fund sponsors and investors, acting as the primary point of contact for all financial and operational inquiries.
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, including the review of financial statements, cash flow projections, and historical performance data.
- Structure and negotiate credit facilities, such as revolving credit facilities and term loans, tailored to meet client requirements while mitigating risk.
- Prepare and review credit memos, loan agreements, and term sheets for approval by senior management.
- Monitor portfolio performance, track covenant compliance, and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policies.
- Coordinate with legal counsel, treasury departments, and other internal stakeholders to facilitate fund draws and repayment processes.
- Perform market research and benchmarking to provide strategic insights on fund performance and industry trends.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (CFA/CPA) is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in fund finance, corporate lending, or structured credit within a financial institution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial models and data accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and financial modeling software.
- Deep understanding of banking regulations, compliance standards, and risk management principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
