We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join the SAFRA National Service Association as an Assistant Director for Defence Advocacy & Partnerships. In this pivotal role, you will drive the organisation's strategic initiatives in building robust partnerships and advocating for national defence interests. You will act as a key bridge between SAFRA and key stakeholders within the defence, government, and corporate sectors, ensuring that SAFRA remains a relevant and influential voice in the national security landscape.
The successful candidate will lead high-level stakeholder engagement, design comprehensive advocacy strategies, and oversee the execution of partnership programs that align with SAFRA's mission. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic team and shape the future of community engagement within the defence community.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive defence advocacy strategies aligned with national interests and SAFRA's mission.
- Cultivate and manage high-level strategic partnerships with government agencies, defence organisations, and corporate entities.
- Lead engagement sessions and represent SAFRA at high-level forums, conferences, and public events.
- Oversee the planning, budgeting, and implementation of partnership programs and advocacy campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and geopolitical shifts to inform strategic decision-making.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team focused on partnership development and stakeholder relations.
- Produce regular reports and briefings for senior management regarding advocacy outcomes and partnership metrics.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Strategic Management, Law, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in advocacy, government relations, strategic partnerships, or the non-profit sector.
- Strong network of contacts within the Singapore defence and government landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, leading cross-functional projects, and achieving strategic KPIs.
- Valid Class 3 or above driver’s license is an added advantage.
