We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Controller to join our dynamic team in Singapore. This is a key leadership role for a professional who has served as the sole finance lead—someone who owns the entire financial function rather than providing support. You will leverage your 5–7 years of progressive US accounting experience to manage financial operations, ensure strict compliance with US GAAP standards, and provide strategic insights to drive business growth.
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for overseeing the full financial lifecycle, from month-end and year-end close processes to cash flow management and internal controls. We are looking for a proactive individual who can bridge the gap between technical accounting and high-level business strategy. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations in strict adherence to US GAAP accounting standards.
- Lead the monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships to ensure financial stability.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls, compliance, and audit processes.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports for executive stakeholders.
- Supervise payroll processing and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Act as the primary financial advisor to the management team on profitability and cost control.
Kualifikasi
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance, specifically with a strong background in US accounting standards.
- Demonstrated experience as the sole finance lead or controller at a company, not just a support role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA or ACCA qualification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
