This is a 1-year contract position offering flexible shift patterns, designed for individuals passionate about patient care.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be a vital part of the clinical team, assisting nurses in delivering high-quality medical and personal care within inpatient wards. You will ensure that patients feel comfortable and supported in their daily activities, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist registered nurses with the delivery of patient care in inpatient wards.
- Support patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
- Maintain high standards of patient hygiene and room cleanliness.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving to ensure patients receive proper nutrition.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level education or equivalent qualification.
- Relevant Healthcare Assistant (HCA) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine, compassionate approach to patient welfare.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Basic proficiency in using computer systems for documentation.
