Tanggung Jawab
- Review and analyze medical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with medical standards.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and HCPCS Level II codes based on established home health guidelines and clinical documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to CMS, JACHO, and other regulatory coding standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with clinical teams and account managers to resolve complex coding queries and documentation issues.
- Participate in regular internal audits to maintain high coding quality, reduce claim denials, and improve revenue cycle efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest changes in medical coding regulations, coding updates, and home health specific policies.
Kualifikasi
- Certification as a RHIA, RHIT, CPC, or CPC-H (or equivalent professional experience in medical coding).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience specifically in home health medical coding.
- Thorough understanding of ICD-10-CM coding structure and HCPCS Level II coding conventions.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical coding software.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, AI-driven, and innovative work environment.
