We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Internal Audit Executive to join our team and support the Group's internal audit functions for oil palm plantation operations. This critical role involves conducting comprehensive audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices. You will evaluate operational efficiency, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance governance within our agricultural division. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions, prepare detailed audit reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized expertise in agribusiness auditing while supporting sustainable plantation management in Sarawak's thriving oil palm sector.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits across oil palm plantation operations including land clearing, cultivation, harvesting, and processing
- Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify operational inefficiencies, financial discrepancies, and control weaknesses through systematic testing
- Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for management review
- Monitor implementation of corrective actions and track progress to resolution
- Assess adherence to sustainability standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with department heads to develop risk mitigation strategies and process improvements
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (CIA, ACCA) preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of internal audit experience, preferably in agriculture, plantation, or agribusiness sector
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data and operational processes
- Proficiency in audit methodologies, risk assessment frameworks, and compliance standards
- Excellent report writing and communication skills with ability to present findings to stakeholders
- Knowledge of Malaysian regulatory requirements and plantation industry best practices
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA)
- Ability to work independently in remote plantation locations with minimal supervision
