Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evaluations for children with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve fine motor skills, gross motor coordination, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and parents to support the child's progress within the school environment and at home.
- Provide parent education and training to ensure carryover of therapeutic strategies into the home setting.
- Document patient progress, maintain accurate clinical records, and prepare reports for insurance or medical reviews.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and case conferences to advocate for the child's needs.
- Utilize adaptive equipment and therapeutic techniques to facilitate skill development and independence.
Kualifikasi
- Must be a Licensed Occupational Therapist (Philippine Board of Occupational Therapy).
- Bachelorβs degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) or a related field.
- Valid Professional License and Certificate of Registration.
- Experience working with pediatric populations (ages 3β18) is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and educators.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic interventions for special needs children.
