- Manage and coordinate the medical referral process from initiation to completion
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare facilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and referral documentation
- Track referral status and follow up on pending authorizations
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies in referral documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely patient care
- Stay current with healthcare regulations and insurance requirements
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in medical referral or healthcare administration
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in healthcare software and electronic health records
- Attention to detail with exceptional organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in Medical Coding or Healthcare Management is a plus
