Tanggung Jawab
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures
- Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and storage protocols
- Maintain sterile equipment and workspace according to infection control standards
- Verify patient identity and provide clear pre/post-procedure instructions
- Document specimen collection accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely sample processing
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality guidelines
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current phlebotomy certification (e.g., ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques and safety protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to calm anxious patients
- Ability to work flexible rotating shifts including weekends
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- CPR certification preferred
