Join Singapore Children's Society as a Senior Associate/Executive in Finance and play a pivotal role in managing our accounts receivable operations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the financial health of a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to children's welfare. You will oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle, including cash and cheque collection from mail processing and our Centre locations. Your expertise will ensure timely banking activities, accurate financial record-keeping, and reconciliation processes that support our mission-driven initiatives.
As a key member of our finance team, you'll collaborate with department heads to optimize financial workflows while maintaining strict compliance with Singapore's accounting standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation
- Collect and bank-in daily cash/cheques from mail processing and Centre operations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit compliance
- Prepare monthly AR reports and aging analysis for management review
- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for financial matters
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Implement process improvements to enhance AR efficiency and cash flow
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years AR experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and GAAP
- Excellent attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Proven ability to handle confidential financial information
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Experience in non-profit or NGO finance preferred
- Professional accounting certification (ACCA/CPA) advantageous
