Join the National University of Singapore (NUS) as an Assistant Manager, Communications and play a pivotal role in shaping the university's narrative and enhancing its global reputation. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans that effectively engage diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and the media. You will act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
As part of the Communications team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various faculties and departments to highlight their achievements and research breakthroughs. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support the university's objectives and brand identity.
- Manage external relations, including media inquiries, press releases, and coordinating interviews with university leadership.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of internal communications to keep staff and faculty informed and engaged.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to craft compelling stories and case studies.
- Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports on public perception and sentiment.
- Organize and manage press conferences, media briefings, and special events.
- Ensure all communications comply with university policies and legal standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content for various platforms.
- Proven experience in media relations and crisis management.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
