- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all pastry items are prepared with the highest level of quality, consistency, and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and requisition supplies as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in all pastry preparation areas
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dessert offerings and seasonal specialties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry workstations, equipment, and storage areas
- Train and mentor junior pastry staff, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Participate in menu planning and recipe development to enhance the guest experience
Kualifikasi
- Professional culinary qualification or certification in pastry arts
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar pastry role in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in all aspects of pastry preparation
- Creative flair and ability to develop innovative dessert concepts
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
