Join Private Advertiser as an Ecosystems Management Specialist I in Bicol and contribute to preserving one of the Philippines' most biodiverse regions. This full-time role offers the opportunity to develop and implement conservation strategies that balance ecological sustainability with community needs. You'll work on critical habitat restoration projects, biodiversity monitoring initiatives, and sustainable land-use planning while collaborating with environmental agencies and local stakeholders. Ideal candidates will demonstrate passion for environmental conservation and possess the technical skills to assess ecosystem health, develop management plans, and advocate for sustainable practices in a dynamic tropical environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement ecosystem conservation plans aligned with regional biodiversity goals
- Conduct ecological assessments and habitat restoration projects in Bicol's terrestrial and coastal zones
- Monitor ecosystem health through biodiversity surveys, water quality testing, and vegetation analysis
- Coordinate with government agencies and communities on sustainable land-use policies
- Lead educational outreach programs promoting environmental stewardship
- Prepare technical reports on ecosystem conditions and management effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and conservation frameworks
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ecosystem management or conservation
- Strong knowledge of Bicol Region's flora, fauna, and ecological systems
- Proficiency in ecological survey techniques and data analysis tools
- Certification in environmental management or GIS preferred
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work independently in remote field conditions
- Valid driver's license for site visits
