We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will work alongside the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all orders are prepared efficiently, timely, and meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will be the bridge between the kitchen and the front of the house, coordinating closely with staff to guarantee a seamless dining experience for our guests.
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the performance of kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and workflow organization. You will ensure that all culinary activities comply with strict hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and organizing daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Cook and prepare menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation, freshness, and taste.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for food supplies to prevent shortages.
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations (HACCP).
- Train junior staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or Chef in a similar setting.
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not strictly required.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items.
