Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the specific academic and therapeutic needs of each student.
- Bridge the gap between clinical therapy objectives and daily classroom learning activities to ensure holistic student development.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and school counselors to coordinate care plans.
- Monitor student progress continuously and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding development.
- Lead and mentor support staff or teaching assistants within the special education department.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or license (e.g., KSSR, IEC, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching students with special needs (Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, etc.).
- Strong understanding of behavioral management techniques and positive behavioral interventions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and adaptive learning tools.
