Are you a strategic leader passionate about the future of robotics and innovation? The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is seeking a dynamic Manager or Senior Manager to drive our Industry & Partnerships initiatives within the RoboCluster. In this pivotal role, you will act as a catalyst for robotics Research & Development (R&D), bridging the gap between academic innovation and commercial application. You will be responsible for catalysing the commercialisation of cutting-edge technologies and engaging with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, industry leaders, and academic institutions, to foster a vibrant robotics ecosystem in Singapore.
This is a unique opportunity to shape national strategies, lead high-impact partnership programs, and contribute to the growth of the National Robotics Programme Office. You will leverage your expertise to identify market opportunities, secure strategic alliances, and ensure that A*STAR’s robotics research translates into real-world solutions that benefit the economy and society.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the strategic development and execution of plans to commercialise robotics technologies and intellectual property.
- Cultivate and manage high-level relationships with key industry partners, government agencies, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure partnership opportunities that align with the National Robotics Programme and A*STAR's goals.
- Oversee the coordination and delivery of collaborative projects and initiatives across various sectors.
- Represent the organisation at international conferences, seminars, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform partnership and investment strategies.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department's partnership framework.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in partnerships, business development, industry relations, or sales within the technology or R&D sector.
- Strong understanding of the robotics, automation, or manufacturing industry landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Relevant industry networks and a proven track record of successfully closing deals or partnerships.
