Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop creative pastry and dessert menus that align with current culinary trends.
- Supervise and mentor the pastry kitchen staff to ensure optimal performance and high morale.
- Maintain strict adherence to hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
- Manage stock levels of ingredients, managing waste control and cost efficiency.
- Create visually stunning and delicious pastries, cakes, and breads for daily service.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure seamless coordination between the front and back of house.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks on all finished products.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Sous Chef in a reputable establishment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and flavor pairings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for presentation and plating.
- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate or equivalent hygiene certification.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
- Diploma or certificate in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred.
