Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct advanced research in plant molecular biology and biochemistry to understand plant responses to environmental stressors
- Analyze complex datasets using bioinformatics tools to identify key genes and biochemical pathways related to crop improvement
- Design and execute laboratory experiments, including molecular cloning, protein expression, and metabolite profiling
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop data-driven models for predicting plant growth and yield
- Prepare detailed research reports, manuscripts for publication, and presentations for scientific conferences
- Stay current with the latest advancements in plant science, biochemistry, and agricultural technology
- Assist in mentoring junior researchers and students in laboratory techniques and research methodologies
Kualifikasi
- Master's degree in Plant Science, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field
- Strong background in laboratory techniques including PCR, Western blotting, and HPLC analysis
- Experience with bioinformatics tools and data analysis software (e.g., R, Python, BioPython)
- Knowledge of plant molecular biology, plant-pathogen interactions, or plant stress physiology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of scientific publications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team
- Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis of biological data
- Prior experience in agricultural research or food security projects is highly desirable
