- Design and conduct cutting-edge research in biochemistry and molecular biology, with a focus on plant disease resistance mechanisms
- Apply advanced metabolomics techniques to analyze plant biochemical pathways and identify markers for disease resistance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams to develop innovative agri-tech solutions
- Prepare and maintain detailed laboratory records, protocols, and documentation of experimental procedures
- Analyze complex biological data using statistical and bioinformatics tools
- Contribute to the preparation of research publications, reports, and grant applications
- Stay updated with the latest developments in biochemistry, molecular biology, and agricultural technology
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the training of graduate students
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Plant Science, or a related field (Master's degree with significant research experience may be considered)
- Strong background in metabolomics techniques and analytical methodologies
- Experience in plant disease resistance research and molecular biology techniques
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques including PCR, Western blotting, protein purification, and cell culture
- Experience with bioinformatics tools and data analysis software
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with researchers from diverse disciplines
