Tanggung Jawab
- Design and execute molecular biology experiments to study crop resistance mechanisms
- Conduct functional genomics analyses including RNA-seq, CRISPR screening, and transcriptomics
- Develop and optimize protocols for plant transformation and gene editing
- Analyze complex genomic datasets using bioinformatics tools and statistical methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate molecular findings with agronomic practices
- Prepare research reports, manuscripts, and presentations for scientific audiences
- Stay current with advancements in plant molecular biology and genomics technologies
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Plant Science, or related field
- Strong expertise in molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, sequencing)
- Experience with functional genomics methods (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, CRISPR)
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and programming (Python/R)
- Demonstrated research record with publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with plant tissue culture or controlled-environment agriculture preferred
