Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in plant biology and molecular biology
- Design and execute experiments related to crop improvement and agricultural innovation
- Analyze molecular and genetic data to identify plant traits beneficial for food security
- Develop and optimize protocols for plant tissue culture, genetic transformation, and molecular analysis
- Prepare research reports, manuscripts for publication, and presentations for scientific conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the training of graduate students
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in plant biotechnology and agricultural sciences
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate research findings into practical applications
Kualifikasi
- PhD in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field
- Strong background in plant molecular biology techniques and experimental design
- Experience with plant genomics, transcriptomics, and bioinformatics analysis
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Familiarity with agricultural practices and food security challenges in tropical climates
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Singapore's agricultural landscape and research priorities would be advantageous
- Experience in grant writing and research project management is desirable
