Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the National Data Curation Team, setting strategic direction and operational priorities
- Develop and implement comprehensive data curation policies, standards, and best practices
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of biomedical data repositories with robust governance frameworks
- Collaborate with research institutions, government agencies, and industry partners to establish data sharing protocols
- Drive initiatives to enhance data quality, accessibility, and utility for research and innovation
- Stay abreast of international data curation trends and technologies, adapting best practices to the Singapore context
- Represent the organization in national and international data science forums and working groups
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence in data management
Kualifikasi
- Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in data science, bioinformatics, computer science, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of biomedical data ecosystems, research data management, and curation principles
- Experience with data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices in the scientific domain
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data strategies in complex organizational environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant data regulations, ethics, and security requirements in biomedical research
- Experience with data management systems, metadata standards, and data visualization tools
