We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, Standards and Methodologies to join our Compliance Markets team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will act as a technical authority on carbon credit standards and methodologies, monitoring the evolving landscape of compliance markets to ensure our clients receive the highest quality carbon assets. You will be responsible for tracking regulatory changes, assessing the integrity of various methodologies, and providing strategic guidance on carbon accounting and reporting. Tanggung Jawab
- Track and analyze the latest developments in carbon credit standards, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct in-depth due diligence and technical assessments of compliance market projects.
- Evaluate methodologies against compliance requirements and ensure alignment with South Pole’s quality standards.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Liaise with project developers and partners to clarify technical requirements and resolve issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal tools and databases related to compliance markets.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the carbon market, sustainability consulting, or a related sector.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Verra, Gold Standard, CDM).
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
