Al Dente Pasta Bar is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic team in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). We are a modern Italian-inspired establishment dedicated to authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. As Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in the kitchen operations, ensuring consistency in our menu offerings and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. You will work closely with the Head Chef to develop new recipes, manage food costs, and lead a brigade of kitchen staff. Tanggung Jawab

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure efficient food preparation workflows.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to the standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Manage inventory levels, reducing waste and controlling food costs effectively.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff to maintain high morale and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative menu items and specials.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
  • Culinary degree or certificate from a reputable culinary school is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, specifically pasta preparation techniques.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid Food Safety and Hygiene certification (e.g., DOLE/Local Government compliant).
  • Demonstrated passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
