In this pivotal role, you will be the right hand to the Head Chef, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

As part of our hospitality team, you will oversee the daily culinary operations, manage inventory, and mentor our kitchen staff to help them grow professionally. Tanggung Jawab

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and the development of new dishes to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the kitchen staff, including Commis and CDP chefs, to ensure a cohesive working environment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering ingredients and managing kitchen inventory to minimize waste.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, functional, and maintained properly.
  • Handle high-pressure situations during peak hours with composure and efficiency.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar leadership role in a restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Culinary degree or certificate from a recognized institution is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
