Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lahad Datu, Sabah. In this key role, you will support the execution of engineering and construction projects by ensuring technical compliance, safety standards, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the Senior Site Engineer and project managers to monitor site progress, resolve technical queries, and coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders.

Tanggung Jawab
- Site Supervision: Monitor daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure all personnel adhere to safety policies (e.g., OSHA/Safety regulations).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including daily progress reports, material receipts, and incident reports.
- Coordination: Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project flow.
- Technical Support: Assist in interpreting engineering drawings and providing technical guidance to site workers as needed.
- Material Management: Assist in the inspection and verification of incoming construction materials and equipment.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in site engineering, construction, or a related industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word, Project), and basic engineering software.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
- Driving License: Valid driving license is an advantage due to the nature of site work.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
