We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer or Commissioning Manager to lead critical testing and validation processes for our upcoming major data center and infrastructure projects in Bandar Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the final phase of project delivery, ensuring that all complex systemsâranging from mechanical and electrical to IT infrastructureâoperate safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with international standards.
As a key member of our technical team, you will manage the full commissioning lifecycle, from planning and functional testing to performance verification and final acceptance. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless system integration. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the commissioning process for large-scale data center infrastructure and critical building systems.
- Conduct comprehensive functional, performance, and system integration tests to verify system performance.
- Prepare and review commissioning plans, test procedures, and commissioning reports.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, IT, Structural) to resolve integration issues.
- Ensure all systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications (e.g., TIA-942, ISO).
- Supervise the turnover process to operations and maintenance teams, ensuring documentation is complete.
- Monitor system start-ups and provide technical support during the commissioning phase.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in commissioning, specifically within data centers or high-rise infrastructure.
- Professional certification (e.g., CxA, Certified Commissioning Authority) is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), fire/life safety, and low-voltage systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
