Join M&J Supply Chain Services as our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Senior Engineer and become a pivotal force in safeguarding our operations. You will develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with international standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of safety across our supply chain. Your expertise will be critical in conducting thorough workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to proactively identify hazards. You'll lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Additionally, you'll manage waste management processes, including disposal and recycling initiatives, while designing and delivering engaging training programs to empower employees. This role requires strong collaboration with our China headquarters to harmonize EHS policies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs compliant with local regulations and international standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and mitigation strategies
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Manage waste management processes, including disposal, recycling, and environmental sustainability initiatives
- Design, coordinate, and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels
- Liaise with China HQ to align EHS policies, share best practices, and ensure global consistency
- Maintain accurate EHS records, prepare compliance reports, and interface with regulatory bodies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments
- Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO Lead Auditor) highly desirable
- Deep knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations and OHS standards
- Strong analytical skills for incident investigation and risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent communication skills for training delivery and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
