- Assess and evaluate travel insurance claims to determine validity and appropriate settlement amounts
- Negotiate claim settlements with claimants to ensure fair and prompt payouts
- Investigate claim circumstances thoroughly, including reviewing documentation and conducting interviews when necessary
- Communicate effectively with claimants, providing clear information about the claims process and settlement options
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claim assessments and settlements
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting and finance, to resolve complex claims
- Stay updated on industry regulations, policy terms, and claim processing best practices
- Identify potential fraudulent claims and implement appropriate investigation procedures
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in insurance claims processing, preferably in travel insurance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Proficiency in claims management software and MS Office applications
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and industry standards
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgment under pressure
- Professional certifications in insurance (e.g., CIP, CPI) are advantageous
