StaffKing Pte Ltd is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and developing high-performance mechanical components for our next-generation Camera Systems and IoT Products. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your creativity and technical expertise will directly contribute to product success and market differentiation.
Your primary focus will be the end-to-end mechanical design process, from conceptualization and prototyping to final manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electronics engineers, firmware developers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure seamless integration and optimal product performance. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop mechanical structures for advanced Camera Systems and IoT products, ensuring optimal performance, durability, and thermal management.
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, BOMs, and assembly documentation.
- Perform structural analysis, stress testing, and feasibility studies to optimize component designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and test functional prototypes, iterating on designs based on testing results, user feedback, and engineering requirements.
- Liaise with manufacturing and production teams to resolve technical issues, improve assembly processes, and ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Conduct material selection analysis (plastics, metals) and evaluate suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in consumer electronics, IoT hardware, and precision manufacturing technologies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably within the consumer electronics, surveillance, or IoT industry.
- Proficiency in using CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or PTC Creo for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, GD&T, materials science, and manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC machining, 3D printing).
- Experience with rapid prototyping tools and testing methodologies is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
