We are currently seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor (QS) specializing in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Systems for our mission-critical Data Center Construction projects. In this position, you will drive commercial success, ensure cost excellence, and oversee strategic delivery.
As a QS, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of high-tech infrastructure projects, including fire alarm, access control, security systems, and structured cabling. You will act as the financial guardian of the project, ensuring that estimates, tenders, and final accounts are accurate and compliant with industry standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the commercial and financial administration of ELV systems projects within data centers.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tenders for ELV works and related construction activities.
- Monitor project cash flow and ensure financial targets are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve variations, claims, and substitutions submitted by contractors and suppliers.
- Conduct site measurements and inspections to verify progress and prepare interim payments.
- Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost-effective procurement and delivery.
- Prepare final accounts and project closure reports to ensure smooth handover.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, specifically within Data Center or Construction projects.
- Strong working knowledge and experience in ELV systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, BMS).
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., Bluebeam, Primavera) and MS Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of contract law, construction standard methods of measurement (SMM), and project management principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid professional qualification (e.g., MRQS/MQS) is highly preferred.
