Join MTD Group as a Safety and Health Officer (SHO) / Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) for our high-rise construction project in Kajang, Selangor. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities comply with safety regulations and best practices. You will play a critical role in preventing accidents, promoting a strong safety culture, and implementing effective safety management systems. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of high-rise construction sites
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and implement safety plans, procedures, and risk assessments for high-rise construction
- Train and educate workers on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper use of equipment
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including incident reports and compliance records
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies on safety matters
- Ensure proper implementation of fall protection systems, scaffolding safety, and other high-rise specific safety measures
Kualifikasi
- Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety, preferably with high-rise buildings
- Familiarity with Malaysian OSH Act 1994 and construction industry regulations
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
