About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to lead our Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) initiatives. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety strategy and execution across a diverse range of critical construction projects, including structural steel, piling, and removal works. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our operations not only meet but exceed strict local regulatory standards and safety protocols.
Your primary focus will be on cultivating a culture of safety awareness and operational excellence. You will manage risk assessments, conduct rigorous site audits, and ensure that all safety measures are effectively implemented to protect our workforce. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive WSH policies and procedures specifically tailored to structural steel, piling, and removal projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Liaise with the WSH Council and regulatory authorities to maintain up-to-date compliance and facilitate external audits.
- Deliver regular safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills to ensure all personnel are well-informed and prepared.
- Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare detailed monthly reports for senior management.
- Enforce safety regulations strictly on-site and take immediate action to rectify any unsafe working conditions.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Valid WSHP (Workplace Safety and Health Pass) or equivalent WSH Officer certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a safety management role within the construction sector.
- Proven experience managing safety for high-risk activities such as structural steel erection and piling works.
- Strong working knowledge of the WSH Act and Singapore’s construction safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively train and lead teams.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
