Join our dynamic team as a Safety Supervisor where you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our construction operations. This position demands a proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management, ensuring full compliance with OSHA standards and local regulations. You'll lead site safety initiatives, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and implement robust safety protocols to prevent workplace incidents. Your expertise will be crucial in developing tailored safety training programs for all personnel, fostering a culture of safety consciousness across the organization.
As a key liaison between our site and regulatory bodies, you'll coordinate effectively with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) and external safety consultants. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership in accident investigation, incident reporting, and corrective action implementation. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee all site HSE activities and ensure OSHA compliance across construction operations
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety training programs for all personnel
- Coordinate with DOSH and external safety consultants for regulatory compliance
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; implement corrective actions
- Manage safety documentation, including incident reports and compliance records
- Lead emergency response drills and promote proactive safety culture
- Monitor safety equipment usage and ensure proper maintenance protocols
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in construction safety supervision
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management qualification
- Deep understanding of Malaysian DOSH regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong leadership skills with ability to train and influence diverse teams
- Proficient in incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication skills for regulatory body coordination
- Experience with safety management systems and reporting software
