Are you a results-driven Industrial Engineer seeking to optimize high-tech manufacturing processes? We are inviting a Senior Industrial Engineer specializing in EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services), SMT (Surface Mount Technology), and PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas.
In this senior role, you will be the driving force behind production efficiency, leading initiatives that enhance throughput, reduce lead times, and minimize operational costs. You will leverage your expertise in Lean and Six Sigma to implement continuous improvement projects, ensuring our manufacturing lines operate at peak performance while maintaining strict quality standards.
As part of a collaborative environment, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, redesign workflows, and implement innovative solutions that scale with the company’s growth.
Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze current manufacturing workflows and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce waste in EMS/SMT lines.
- Conduct detailed time studies and line balancing to optimize production schedules and meet critical delivery deadlines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for all production processes.
- Lead Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects to drive continuous improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and yield rates.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
- Design and optimize factory floor layouts to improve material flow, ergonomics, and space utilization.
- Monitor production costs and resource utilization, proposing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in EMS, SMT, or PCBA manufacturing environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred), and Kaizen methodologies.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for site visits.
