Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure full compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols for marine construction, piling, lifting operations, and barge activities.
- Manage the issuance and monitoring of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure all workers are adequately protected.
- Investigate and report on safety incidents, near-misses, and accidents, providing detailed reports to management and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate safety training sessions and toolbox talks to keep the workforce informed about current risks and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and update comprehensive Safety Method Statements (SMS) for upcoming projects.
- Monitor compliance with traffic management plans and temporary works safety requirements on-site.
Kualifikasi
- Valid SSM (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia) Level 2 in Safety Officer or equivalent NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
- Proven experience in a similar Site Safety Supervisor role within the construction or marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of marine construction, piling, lifting, and barge operations safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver safety briefings clearly and effectively.
- Valid Malaysian driving license and ability to travel to various project sites within the region.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure environments.
- Basic proficiency in using safety management software and reporting tools.
