Join Smitech Engineering Pte Ltd, an established and growing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor, as a Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator. This critical role is based on-site at Changi Airport for a major infrastructure project, where you'll ensure the highest safety standards are maintained throughout all project phases. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing robust safety protocols, conducting regular risk assessments, and fostering a culture of compliance with Singapore's WSH regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety management systems aligned with WSH regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for employees and subcontractors
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed safety documentation, reports, and incident records
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and maintain all necessary safety certifications
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field
- WSH Officer certification from Singapore (WDA or MOM accredited)
- Minimum 3 years of construction/M&E safety experience
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's WSH Act and regulatory standards
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
- Certification in NEBOSH/OHSAS 18001 or equivalent preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse teams
